An evening full of conversation
You know that feeling when you want to talk about voice over with people who love it as much as you do, without any fuss? That is exactly why I created Apéro Voice: a lively, friendly online gathering connecting everyone who loves this fascinating profession, whether experienced, just starting out or simply curious.
On Monday 28 April 2025 at 7 pm, I welcomed voice actor Hervé Lacroix.

Who is Hervé Lacroix?
Hervé Lacroix has a voice you recognise effortlessly: warm, full of character and professional. He is one of the leading voices in French audiovisual production, moving easily between commercials, documentaries, station imaging and narration.
Beyond his performances, Hervé is a generous enthusiast, always happy to share, exchange ideas and open the door to this demanding profession.

The evening's programme
As I announced it on 25 March 2025.
- 7 pmThe interview with Hervé: around an hour and a half, with audience questions through the chat or microphone.
- AfterwardsThe after-party: small Zoom rooms in groups of four, to meet one another, share a little of our stories or simply talk voice over until 10:30 pm, and perhaps later if the conversation keeps flowing.
A few ground rules
To keep the welcoming atmosphere that makes Apéro Voice special, we make sure to:
- Respect everyone's speaking time. Egos stay in the waiting room.
- Listen as much as we speak.
- Turn on our cameras so we can really see one another.
- Bring humility, curiosity and, why not, something to nibble on!
Excessive drinking is harmful to health. Please drink in moderation.
