Studio Bis keeps me available and responsive, even at weekends, including for remotely directed sessions. Sometimes production simply can’t wait. In Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, this is my little retreat: smaller, but just as effective. It’s where I recharge between long walks on the beach.

Leave the recording to me or direct it live, depending on your project. Before we record, we discuss your script, the intended performance and the project requirements. We agree on the schedule and the files you need.
Direct the session
Join the recording remotely. Together, we adjust the pace, nuances and performance, take by take.
Have a clear direction? I’ll follow it. Still finding the tone? I’ll suggest a few approaches, and we’ll listen and refine them together.

Before the first take
Can a home studio match a commercial recording studio?
Yes, with the right acoustics and equipment: a soundproofed, acoustically treated booth, a Neumann U87, a Manley VoxBox channel strip, an RME Fireface UC interface and a control room for checking every take. A pioneer of professional home recording in France since 2004, I record your script in broadcast quality.
Why choose a voice actor with a studio?
Flexibility, a quick response and lower production costs: working with a voice actor who has a studio saves you time and studio hire fees, while keeping you in control of the sound and creative direction.
How does a remotely directed session work?
You listen live and direct the takes. Together, we adjust the pace, nuances and performance, take by take. For audio: Source-Connect (certified), SessionLink Pro or Cleanfeed. For conversation: Google Meet, Zoom or Teams.
Can you connect to our studio?
Yes, via Source-Connect (ID: Estelle Hubert), SessionLink Pro or Cleanfeed. Your sound engineer receives the live take in broadcast quality, as if I were in your booth.
Can I leave the recording to you without directing the session?
Yes. Send me the script and brief, and I’ll record following the direction we’ve agreed. If you haven’t settled on a direction, I can suggest approaches. You then receive the takes for review.
What files will I receive?
Depending on your needs, you’ll receive raw takes for postproduction or cleaned, split and named files as specified in the quote. Files are supplied in WAV or AIFF, at the format and level agreed for your production. An MP3 version can also be provided.
How can I assess the sound before booking?
Listen to the unprocessed recording from my booth on this page, or download the WAV for your sound engineer. Depending on your project, a free audition using a short extract from your script can also help you decide.
My deadline is tight. How do I check availability?
Send your deadline with your script. I’ll respond quickly, and we’ll arrange the recording around your schedule.
