French voice over for the Essential Costa Rica destination film

After Costa Rica, you never come back quite the same

Some corporate films make you feel before they show. For the international Essential Costa Rica campaign, my clear and natural voice carries the emotion, following the wind and the light. That is what I look for every day as a female voice over artist.

A country and a philosophy of life

The film invites you to close your eyes and breathe: disconnect, live in the moment, surf in the morning, walk above the clouds in the afternoon and relax in a hot spring in the evening. The campaign expresses the country’s identity through Pura Vida. You can also explore other corporate voice over projects.

My approach as a performer

A rich, poetic script called for a restrained narrative delivery, with more momentum than a documentary. My colleague and friend Katie Flamman recorded the English version, so both languages could carry the same emotion.

From the brief to the recording

Every project starts with listening to what is needed and agreeing a precise brief. I have written a guide to preparing a corporate voice over brief. I record from my professional home studio, with remote directed sessions when needed, to make the corporate voice over work with the images.

More journeys through voice

The same care runs through my documentary voice over demos, with a more contemplative delivery for the Faroe Islands documentary and a more grounded tone for the NASA space documentary. Let’s talk about your project.

“I’m extremely happy with the professional work delivered by this French voice actor online. I needed high-quality recordings for a specialist documentary and chose to entrust this important project to her. She understood and interpreted the script with the sensitivity it needed, bringing a natural emotion that really brought the story to life.”
