A talking endive: French character voice over for Perle du Nord
Even an endive has a character
In Perle du Nord’s animated film, created by Becoming Group, endives become characters. The voices give them different personalities through their colours, rhythms and reactions.

Perle du Nord talking endives: the video
Vegetables with personalities
The film uses personification to create humour. A vegetable speaks, reacts and reveals a character, with the performance contributing to the comic intention of the scene.
Changing the role
I work with differences in pace, timbre and attitude. A personality is heard in how the character responds as much as in the sound of its voice.
“We’re very happy with Estelle’s voice recording and editing work, both artistically and in terms of sound. She followed our direction easily and gave her French character exactly the voice and emotions the project needed.”
